AmeriRoots and Weyrich Computer Consulting have special packages designed for candidates running for the Arizona State Legislature, but we can handle other races as well -- ask for a quote!
For an example of our work, see for example the David Smith 2002 web pages. Other styles are available.
Our basic package includes web page development and hosting, as well as domain name registration (www.yourname.com), and is broken down into three phases, with a fixed fee schedule for Arizona State Legislative Candidates:
Candidates for Congressional or State-wide Office may be assessed an additional bandwidth surcharge.
Included at no charge with web-page development and hosting are up to 10 e-mail addresses for yourname.com that forward to you and your campaign staff. You will need to provide the basic connection to the Internet for your office. You should budget about $25 a month per dial-up connection.
We have a limited number of used desktop computers and monitors that are loaded with Windows-98 and Microsoft Office-97 available for lease for $20/month each, plus a one-time $200 set-up fee. We also custom build computers and upgrade existing hardware.
We provide full-service support for computers in your campaign headquarters, using a two-tier rate schedule: $45/hr for routine non-critical services scheduled at my convenience, and $95/hr for emergency services.
We are presently developing software to manage voter and donor tracking to facilitate get-out-the-vote campaigns.
We offer individual and small-group instruction in computer software usage at a rate of $45/hr. Put our training experience to work for you!
We want our clients to succeed. Bookmark this web page and check back for other services that we will be offering our prospective clients free or at minimal cost!
The official number of signatures required will not be published by the Arizona Secretary of State's Office until March of 2004. A good estimate can be made based on the from the 2002 signature requirements. The number of signatures required depends on the demographics of your district and your party affiliation, but generally ranges between 100 and 700 for major party candidates and independents, while Libertarians may only need a dozen or so.
You should plan on collecting at least 25% more signatures than required, as inevitably some of your signatures will be disqualified.
